Planning your travel to Lagos

When to arrive

  1. Main celebration is on Jan 9th. Most folks are leaving on Saturday Jan 10th. 
  2. You can arrive anytime before that. If you wish to explore/experience lagos i recommend arriving at least a week before the party … but up to you
  3. We plan to arrange “other activities” the week before for those in town

Immigration/Visa

If you don’t have a nigerian passport you will need a visa. Apply at evisa.immigration.gov.ng

Flights from US

  1. Tickets can be expensive so suggest buying sooner rather than later
  2. United flies direct from IAD
  3. Delta flights direct from JFK and Atlanta (10 hrs)
  4. Many European airlines fly to lagos via their home city. Virgin, BA, Lufthansa and Air France are really good options.

On-ground Transportation

  1. To and From Airport (with/without protocol officer) (call xxxx)
  2. While in Lagos
    1. Uber works
    2. But you can also get you own car and driver (call here)
